Go to cartOur system keeps in touch with you throughout the process... you should receive an email confirming your order, the despatch, some information on the product once you receive it, and an opportunity to review it.
Sometimes, these emails can go into your junk folder as the email address is not recognised. If you still can't find something, get in touch with us through an email or the Chat facility on the bottom left of this page!
When your order was shipped (usually within 24hrs of your order placement), we sent you an email with a tracking link... if you can't find it check your junk folder, as sometimes they get filtered out. You can click into this to see latest progress. In some cases this tracking may lag behind the parcel progress.
Our system updates in real time, and orders are picked and despatched usually within 12-24 hrs of you placing the order, and usually much faster than this. Once the parcel is in the hands of delivery service partners (for UK this is usually Yodel), it will depend on which delivery service you purchased... 48hrs tracked is our standard, with 24hr Express tracked also available. So in majority of cases, depending on when you placed your order, you should have your parcel 48-60 hrs after order placement. In many cases it will be even faster than this. Please note that the timings of "48hrs" and "24hrs" are based on the courier service once they have received the item.
In times of industrial action or severe weather, we will take reasonable steps to help get your delivery to you.
International orders of course take longer, depending on the destination order, but we still use a tracked service so you can see progress as it happens.
Without exception we will refund or replace a faulty product, although we don't get many of them! If you find you have simply changed your mind then we will happily refund, so long as the product is in resellable condition. Please use this link to get to the returns portal:

We ship to all parts of the EU through our handling parters. In most cases this is dpd or Royal Mail. This typically takes about 7-10 days.
Please note that although we use a tracking service, it is sometimes the case that the tracking data doesn't keep up with the parcel, especially when going through customs procedures.
We are VAT registered within the EU, and a single coat is below the level requiring duty so despite Brexit (😡) you should not need to pay local VAT or duty.
We ship to Australia, NZ, USA and Canada through our handling parters. In most cases this is dpd or Royal Mail, and then local delivery agents such as US Postal Service. This typically takes about 7-10 days.
Please note that although we use a tracking service, it is sometimes the case that the tracking data doesn't keep up with the parcel, especially when going through customs procedures.
Our product is below the value requiring duties, but it may be the case that local sales taxes may apply which is out of our control.
We don't use packaging leaflets etc as in many cases they go straight in the bin! Look out for an email which will arrive approximately 5 days after your order, tellng you about your product including care instructions.
One of the great things about the Sea Monster is the technical waterproof outer material. It is a membrane rather than just a "spray" waterproofing treatment, which means that you can wash it without ruining it.
Like any waterproof garment, repeated washing will eventually degrade the waterproofing, but so long as you use a non-biological detergent, and no fabric softener you can wash it every so often with confidence. Finally, don't use a tumble dryer... the Sea Monster is happiest drying naturally, which it does fast!
The Sea Monster will likely shed micro fibres as do all man made clothing materials. We recommend minimising machine washing, and using a Guppy Bag on the rare occasions you do need to wash.
There are also some washing machine filters also available to fit to your washer.
If you are in the UK, there is a BBC podcast in the "Sliced Bread" series which covers this subject very well.
We have all got much more used to shopping online, and our experience with the retail clothing industry is that often there are large volumes which end up in landfill or in other ways create waste. We therefore have chosen to operate mainly online, so that we only produce and sell the volume our customers actually want.
You may also see us at some selected shows and events through the year, including Carfest, The Outdoor Living Expo, and Spirit of Christmas Olympia.
